‘Old Jewish Jokes’

Shtick, chutzpah and kosher gags.

‘Old Jewish Jokes’ is a show I organise from time which entails a live celebration of traditional Jewish humour.   I usually invite other Jewish comedy people to join me on stage and we spend an hour or so sharing our favourite old Jewish gags. The audience  are also invited to contribute and sometimes I offer a prize of a ‘golden begal’ to the member of the audience who recollects the funniest joke or manages to come up with a gag most of us have not heard before.   It’s intended as a fun and warm-hearted night, a tribute to one of the worlds greatest entertainment traditions.
