What are the drop-ins? 

Pay-as-you-go sessions for those interested in working on their stand-up comedy. Come to all the sessions, or just the ones that interest you. There are no large fees – you only pay for the drop-ins you attend. The main drop-in principles are:

Looking at funniness rather than technique.

Using a direct and honest approach.

Working from personal truth and taking risks.

Welcoming people with all levels of experience.

Offering the best possible value for money.

What’s happening at the next session?

In the first half we have a quick go-round when people share their recent experiences of writing and performing comedy. This is followed by a group exercise aimed at looking at your ability to connect to the audience, your authenticity and your willingness to take risks.

In the second half, people have a chance to show any new stuff and the rest of us respond in an honest yet critically supportive manner.
